about

Genuine after-Shibuya-kei band Keichi & The Coconut Groove. Speaking of the 90's, it has a similar feel to Leftbank's Bobbie's Rockin' Chair, but the sound is a little more wide-ranging while keeping in line with recent trends. Is it unique for a label? A fresh cover of the classic Roger Nichols' "Kinda Wasted Without You"!

On the other hand, for Small Garden, the label owner requested "A Kind Of Eden," a hidden gem by the Bristol neo-acoustic band The Orchids, which he would not normally select. This song was previously covered by Shino Kobayashi in the same project, but he chose it again. “I hope you can enjoy the goodness of this song with your own interpretation.”
The two original songs are also great, B2 incorporates a reggae-like rhythm to regret the late summer, and B3, which has the feel of Small Garden, has a wonderful intertwined male and female vocals.

Mastering was done by Mr. Kozono of Small Garden, who also works as a musician. The 90's indie style illustrations are original works by Ikuno Nema, also known as nee. This time, the artwork was handled by Tomomi Kuroda, who knows the scene very well.

mastering : Kenichiro Kozono (small garden studio)
